"FAILURE TO LAUNCH"

                                                  The Perfect Book Launch

How do you plan a perfect or maybe a great book launch?

The first thing is, while you’re in the last stages of writing your book, start making a checklist of when and how you want your book launch to begin.

I know it sounds complicated, especially with wrapping up the book, but the book launch is an important step.

So, without further ado, allow me to take you through the process of a successful book launch.

What I like to do first is start the announcement process by acquainting my audience with a new project. I post on social media, and if you have a mailing list, it’s a good time to send notifications to that as well.

It’s vital to cover all basis during the early stage so you won’t overlook any details.

I’m an Independent Author and publish my work through Amazon. If you publish independently also, then you will find this information useful.

You’ll start a step-by-step process that covers the book's details.

Generally, this includes pricing; promotion is among the last phase of the process.

Pricing is one of the most critical features of the book launch and book release details. It’s a great strategy to keep your readers in the know, potentially attracting new readers to your lists.

Reviewers are helpful, and if you’re fortunate enough to have reader reviews in your lineup, you’re already off to a great start.

If this isn’t your first rodeo, then you’re already aware of book promotion sites that allow you to schedule on their sites.

Many require payment, but some are free.

If you’re savvy, you also know how to promote your work through social media ads. Facebook allows you to set a price with start and end dates if you’re conscientious about your budget.

Also, Amazon, but if you enroll in Kindle Unlimited, you can do book count downs and free promotions. You can also do paid promotions but start with the free ones first.

A little goes a long way but remember you may want to do promotions throughout the book launch process and beyond.

Last but not least, the key to a successful book launch is in the details. Start big and finish bigger if you plan well from the beginning.

Even with all that I’ve shared, perfection still might not be obtainable but try to get as close to perfection as possible.
