"LET FREEDOM RING!"
The Indie Writer Coalitions
As
writers and authors, we know that the struggle is real. Not so much the writing
aspect but publishing. As a writer and publisher, I band together with all my
fellow independent artists striving to achieve their dreams.
I
believe in you and understand that what we do as writers is a commendable task and
an excellent exhibition of perseverance and dedication.
You've
fought hard to be taken seriously. Therefore your dreams are realized and
valid. As authors, you are an essential part of the freelance market.
You have
met all the requirements and deemed acceptable worthy to proclaim yourself a free
agent.
No
longer must you feel substandard because you refuse to be relegated as an
unmarketable group.
The
Indie Writer Coalition isn't just a statement but a reality. There are writing
communities that bear this heading—a place where independent authors can
discuss ideas and span their networks using social media outlets.
I am
proud to profess an alliance with other indie writers who no longer wait to be
recognized or authenticated as we are writers.
The
invitation is extended. And if you're still wavering or unsure about where you
fit in the scheme of things, there's help.

What
is the Indie Author Publishing Rights Program?
The
Indie Author Publishing Rights Program is an Alliance of Independent Authors
program that educates and encourages authors to selectively license publishing
rights to trade publishers at home and overseas, TV and film producers, and
other rights buyers.
The
program aims to open up the rights industry to indie authors through publicly
accessible education and coaching programs and services.
So when you're ready to take your place
at the independent writer's table, don't be afraid to step out on faith and
explore all the opportunities available to you.
